- Spiracles without a well-developed apodeme; each spiracle within a large semi-circular, invaginated area; associated spiracular disc pores slightly sunken on short stalks, forming a tight group close to peritreme; all legs represented by vestigial leg flaps, with few pores, none ball-shaped and completely covered with pores .............................................................................................................................. 2. Posterior and submarginal dorsal abdomen folding round onto ventral abdomen, with dorsal intersegmental lines strongly sclerotised, each curved, reflexed towards submedian; invaginations on abdominal segments not containing 5-locular disc pores ................................................................................
