Diagnosis. The male of P. longtanensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to those of P. amelia Jäger & Vedel, 2007 , P. lushanensis and P. shuqiangi Jäger et al., 2015 ( Jäger & Vedel 2007; Jäger et al. 2015) by E sickleshaped, becoming progressively narrower apically. It can be recognised from P. amelia and P. shuqiangi by RTA simple and thin (broader and distal tip with small humps in P. amelia and P. shuqiangi ), can be recognised from P. lushanensis by RTA arising basally to medially from Ti (arising subdistally from Ti in P. lushanensis ).

MALE (LJ2120): Measurements: Small sized. Body length 7.0–7.2, DS length 3.4, width 2.8, OS length 3.6, width 2.2. Eyes: AME 0.14, ALE 0.22, PME 0.17, PLE 0.20, AME–AME 0.16, AME–ALE 0.10, PME–PME 0.21, PME–PLE 0.31, AME–PME 0.28, ALE–PLE 0.25, CH AME 0.32, CH ALE 0.29. Palp ( Figs 153A–C View FIGURE 153 ): As in diagnosis. C arising from T at 12:30 o’clock position, its apical part bent. E arising from T at 9:00–10:30 o’clock position, running in semi-circle, with small triangular outgrowth basally. Spermophor visible submarginally on retrolateral T in ventral view, bent near the basal of E. RTA arising basally to medially from Ti, simple.

Colouration ( Figs 154A–B View FIGURE 154 ): DS yellow with brown spots, two lateral bands, margin with thin brown dashed line and brown patterns. The marbled pattern in general and with long lines posterior of the eyes, the two small patches in front of the fovea. OS dorsally yellowish brown with reddish-brown pattern at anterior margin, connected laterally to the central pattern, this latter becoming denser posteriorly, with a transverse yellow line at posterior part.
