Type material. CHINA, Guizhou Province: Holotype male from Bijie City, Nayong County, Zhangjiawan Town , Dapingqing National Wetland Park , 26.68°N, 105.46°E, 2007 m, 3 July 2012, D. Wang & X. Jiang leg. ( CBEE, LJ2356 ) GoogleMaps . Paratype: 1 male, with same data as for holotype ( CBEE, LJ2357 ) GoogleMaps .
Etymology. The specific name is derived from the type locality, the Nayong County; adjective.
Diagnosis. The male of P. nayongensis Zhang, Jäger & Liu , spec. nov. is similar to those of P. amelia and P. lushanensis by the long filiform and evenly curved E. It can be diagnosed by the following characteristics: 1) E arising from 9:00 o’clock position on the T; 2) vRTA longer than dRTA in retrolateral view (E arising from 10:00, vRTA almost equal to dRTA in P. amelia ; E arising from 8:00, vRTA not developed in P. lushanensis ).
MALE (LJ2356): Measurements: Small sized. Body length 8.2–8.8, DS length 3.8, width 3.4, OS length 4.4, width 2.7. Eyes: AME 0.13, ALE 0.25, PME 0.16, PLE 0.20, AME–AME 0.14, AME–ALE 0.08, PME–PME 0.20, PME–PLE 0.31, AME–PME 0.27, ALE–PLE 0.24, CH AME 0.32, CH ALE 0.29. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2121; Fe I–III 323, IV 331; Pa I–IV 100; Ti I–II 2228, III– IV 2126; Mt I–II 2024, III 2026, IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 6.1 (1.8, 0.7, 1.2, –, 2.4); I 14.9 (4.4, 1.4, 4.2, 3.6, 1.3); II 18.5 (5.0, 1.8, 5.4, 4.7, 1.6); III 12.4 (3.7, 1.3, 3.3, 3.0, 1.1); IV 15.9 (4.8, 1.2, 3.8, 4.6, 1.5). Leg formula: II-IV-I-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 23 denticles.
Palp ( Figs 181A–C View FIGURE 181 ): As in diagnosis. C arising from T at 12:00 o’clock position. E tapering to its tip, running in semi-circle. Spermophor following retrolateral margin of T closely, partly hidden in ventral view. RTA arising basally to medially from Ti, with small hump at its distal part.
Colouration ( Figs 182A–B View FIGURE 182 ): DS yellow with dark pattern, forming 2 distinct lateral bands and a light median band. Fovea and striae distinctly marked. OS dorsally light grey with marks at its margins. OS ventrally light grey with dark dots, irregularly arranged.
