Diagnosis of female. The female of this species may be distinguished by the medially absolutely fused LL, the unique shape of first winding of IDS.

FEMALE (THI0065): Measurements: Medium sized. Body length 10.8–11.7, DS length 5.6, width 5.0, OS length 5.7, width 3.7. Eyes: AME 0.16, ALE 0.29, PME 0.18, PLE 0.26, AME–AME 0.17, AME–ALE 0.10, PME–PME 0.23, PME–PLE 0.37, AME–PME 0.31, ALE–PLE 0.29, CH AME 0.43, CH ALE 0.34. Spination: Pp 131, 101, 2101, 1014; Fe I 323, II–III 322, IV 331; Pa I–III 101, IV 000; Ti I–II 2228, III 2226, IV 2126; Mt I–II 3034, III–IV 3036. Measurements of palps and legs: Pp 7.6 (2.2, 1.1, 1.6, –, 2.7); I 18.5 (5.1, 2.4, 4.8, 4.6, 1.6); II 22.0 (5.8, 2.7, 6.5, 5.2, 1.8); III 16.5 (4.9, 1.9, 4.3, 4.0, 1.4); IV 17.6 (5.3, 1.3, 4.5, 4.8, 1.7). Leg formula: II-I-IV-III. Cheliceral furrow with ca. 22 denticles.
Epigyne ( Figs 99A–C View FIGURE 99 ): As in diagnosis. EF wider than long. Anterior margins of LL well developed in longitudinal axis. IDS with the unique shape of FW, IDS suited postero-laterally. FD situated medially.
Colouration ( Figs 100C–D View FIGURE 100 ): DS light reddish-brown with black markings, fovea and striae distinctly marked. OS dorsally reddish brown, with a bright band in the posterior part. OS ventrally lighter with dense marks.
Variation. Female:PL4.8–6.2,OL5.6–6.4.Spination: palpal tibia 2121, Fe II–III 323, Pa I–IV 001, I–IV 2026, Mt I–II 1014, III 3026/3024. The epigyne exhibited in at least three cases mating plugs, two of them separated, one was fused medially.
Distribution. China (Sichuan Province; type locality) and Thailand (Chiang Mai Province; new record).
