Type host: Myiopagis gaimardii (Orbigny) ( Passeriformes : Tyrannidae ). Type locality: Guyana.
Host range and distribution. Mesostenoxenous species associated with the tyrant flycatchers ( Passeriformes : Tyrannidae ): Elaenia ruficeps Pelzeln and Myiopagis gaimardii (Orbigny) both from Guyana, and M. subplacens (Sclater) from Peru ( Glowska & Milensky 2014).
