Vizcaya View in CoL comprises a very uniform group of delphacids which can be easily distinguished by the following combination of characters: body slender in appearance with legs and forewings long; antennae with scape and pedicel both strongly elongate, scape slightly or well dilated, pedicel terete with numerous sensory ®elds, which are irregularly arranged over the whole surface (®gures 10, 15, 16); legs very elongate and slender, hind leg spine formula 5:5:4, metatibial spur conical in shape, with 6±12 teeth (including apical tooth) on inner margin; head small and narrow, transition of vertex to frons smooth and rounded; head and pronotum predominantly ochraceous with vertex, upper half of frons, postclypeus and lora shining black, forewings (®gures 47, 50) usually with a large, distinct fuscous patch at apical area beyond nodal line (excluding costal area) and with or without a short fuscous stripe which branches from the fuscous patch and runs to costal margin, clavus and basal costal area usually marked with fuscous; abdomen usually blackish. Included species and distribution. Nine species; S. India, Philippines (Luzon), Indonesia (Sulawesi, Lombok (new record)), Malaysia ( Sarawak), Thailand, Vietnam, SW China (south Yunnan) (new record), Taiwan (new record).
