FIGURES 1–8. 1, Eustenogaster fraterna . 2–5, E. agilis . 6–8, E. fulvipennis .1–4, female. 5–8, male. 1, propodeal valvula (PV), hind coxa (HC) and first metasomal tergum (MTI). 2, ocelli. 3, second metasomal tergum in profile. 4, sixth metasomal tergum in lateral view. 5, mandible. 6, head in lateral view. 7, apical part of clypeus. 8, lateral furrows on pronotum in lateral view. Scale bars show 1 mm.
FIGURES 9–16. 9–14, Eustenogaster fraterna . 15–16, E. nigra . 9–12, female. 13–16, male. 9, ocelli. 10 and 15, first metasomal segment in dorsal view. 12, sixth metasomal tergum in lateral view. 13, mandible. 11 and 14, second metasomal tergum in profile. 16, minute serration of lateral margin of pennies valve. Scale bars show 1 mm except for fig. 16.
Female. Clypeus more or less pointed apically (Figs. 21, 26, 32, 35, 41, 52); anterior ocellus somewhat elliptical, wider than long; posterior ocellus more or less circular (Figs. 2, 9, 29, 43, 54); mandible with three teeth (Figs. 22, 27, 34). Sixth (=terminal) metasomal tergum with tubercle or spine (Figs. 4, 12, 28, 50).
Male. Antenna with terminal flagellomere conical. Length of second maxillary palpomere longer than that of third to sixth palpomeres combined. Metasomal terga with tubercle or spine absent.
