Eustenogaster scitula ( Bingham, 1897)

Ischnogaster scitula Bingham, 1897: 377 , 379.

This species is similar to E. nigra , but the second metasomal tergum is usually less strongly convex than the latter and the body is marked more abundantly with yellow as follows: Large T-shaped mark on clypeus ( Figs. 57 ), paired short lines along posterodorsal margin of pronotum, scrobal spot and inverted L-shaped mark below it, paired lateral spots (sometimes reduced in size) on disk of scutellum, posteromedian spot on metanotum, paired posterodorsal spots on propodeum, fore tibia laterally, apical part of fore femur (often absent). In the male the second tergum has the apical yellow band. Male genitalia are similar to those of E. nigra ( Figs. 59 E, Q).
