This genus can be characterised by reduced and acute mandibles, serrate or flabellate antenna; abdominal spiracles ventral, and sternum IX visible, not covered by VIII. Sexual dimorphism is manifest in the antenna, usually with longer projections in males than in females. Immature stages unknown.
