Coriomeris scabricornis scabricornis (Panzer, 1809) View in CoL

Coreus scabricornis Panzer, 1809 : pl. 21 (as new species); Coreus scabricollis Stephens, 1829: 341 ; Merocoris serratus A. Costa, 1847: 7 ; Coriomeris nigridens Jakovlev, 1906: 198 .

Distribution in Iran. Ardabil ( Modarres Awal 1987), East Azarbaijan ( Modarres Awal 1997a, b; Hassanzadeh et al. 2009b; Gharaat et al. 2009; Khaghaninia et al. 2010b), Iran (no locality cited) ( Tshernova 1978).

General distribution. Trans Palearctic (unknown in the Mediterranean basin).

Comments. On Medicago sativa (Fabaceae) ( Modarres Awal 1997a), and Onobrychis sativa (Fabaceae) ( Modarres Awal 1997b).

Note. The distribution of another subspecies ( C. scabricornis lapponicus Tshernova 1978 ) is restricted to northern Russia and Scandinavia.
