Diamesa alpina Tokunaga View in CoL
( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 13 – 26 )
Diamesa alpina Tokunaga, 1936: 539 View in CoL –542, Figs. 5, 6, 8, 11 View FIGURES 1 – 12 , 20–23 View FIGURES 13 – 26 , 30 View FIGURES 27 – 31 , 32 View FIGURES 32 – 38 .
Diamesa kurobedistalis Sasa et Okazawa, 1992a: 59 –60 (misprinted as Diamesa View in CoL sp. " kurobedistalis "), Fig. 21 View FIGURES 13 – 26 a–k. [Holotype 233: 082.] Syn. nov.
Makarchenko (1996) treated Diamesa kurobedistalis as a synonym of D. leona Roback. However View in CoL , the hypopygium of the holotype of D. kurobedistalis , with posteriorly elongated laterosternite IX, minute anal point, and U-shaped anal tergal bands ( Fig. 23 View FIGURES 13 – 26 ), is similar to that in D. alpina Tokunaga. Therefore View in CoL , D. kurobedistalis should be regarded as a junior synonym of D. alpina View in CoL .
