Types. Holotype, female, China: Heilongjiang Province, Jingbo Lake, 43°52’N, 128°54’E. June 28, 2006, from Securinega suffruticosa (Pall.) Rehd. (Euphorbiaceae) , coll. Xue, Xiao-Feng and Song, Zi-Wei. Paratypes, 11 females, with the same data as holotype; 18 females, China: Jilin Province, Jilin City, 43.87°N, 126.57°E. July 2, 2006, from Securinega suffruticosa (Pall.) Rehd. (Euphorbiaceae) , coll. Xue, Xiao-Feng and Song, Zi-Wei.
Relation to host. Vagrant on leaf surface. No damage to the host was observed.
Etymology. The specific designation suffruticosae is from the species name of the host plant, suffruticosa . Remarks. This species is similar to Tegolophus securinegavagrans Mohanasundaram, 1985 , but can be differentiated by coxal area with short lines (coxal area smooth in T. securinegavagrans ), dorsal annuli with granules (dorsal annuli smooth in T. securinegavagrans ), setae h1 present (setae h1 absent in T. securinegavagrans ), submedian lines present (submedian lines absent in T. securinegavagrans ).
