Etymology. From the name of city of one paratype.

Holotype, ”, length of body 4.8 mm, of fore wing 3.84 mm.

Head. Remaining antennal segments 22, length of third segment 1.6 times fourth, length of third and fourth segments 4 and 2.5 times their maximal widths, respectively; eyes weakly setose; length of eye in dorsal view 3.5 times temple; temple directly narrowed posteriorly, coriaceous; OOL: diameter of ocellus: POL~3.0:2.0:1.0; frons smooth medially, finely punctate laterally; vertex convex, slightly punctate, flattened near stemmaticum; face convex, finely punctate, smooth and shiny between punctures, with long setae; clypeus weakly convex (quasi flattened) in lateral view, smooth and shiny with sparse punctures; length of malar space equal to basal width of mandible; malar suture present; occipital flange reduced and rounded ventrally ( figure 65 View FIGS ).

Mesosoma ( figures 20 View FIGS , 64 View FIGS ). Length of mesosoma 1.45 times its maximal height; side of pronotum crenulate medially, finely coriaceous basally and remainder smooth; mesopleuron smooth and shiny; precoxal sulcus incomplete (hardly reaching anterior border of mesopleuron), finely punctate; metapleuron smooth with sparse punctures, shiny; mesoscutum sparsely punctate, depressed posteriorly; notauli punctate; scutellar sulcus narrow, with small carinae ( figure 20 View FIGS ); scutellum convex, smooth and shiny; propodeum medially convex, smooth with long setae; metapleural flange absent but ventral margin of metapleuron produced ( figure 64 View FIGS ).

Wings. Fore wing: r: SR1z3-SR~5:28; 2-SR: r-m~8:6; second submarginal cell sessile; subbasal cell setose anteriorly; vein 3-CU1 four times longer than vein CU1b. Hind wing: 2-M coloured; membrane largely glabrous basally.

Legs. Hind coxa smooth dorsally ( figure 47 View FIGS ); lengths of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 4.3, 8, 8 times their widths, respectively; ventral border of hind femur smooth in lateral view; hind tibia with several bristles between setae; tibial spurs 0.55 and 0.4 times basitarsus; hind tibia with four apical teeth.

Metasoma. First tergite 2.5 times longer than apically wide, smooth and shiny, medially concave and strongly convex apically, in lateral view ( figure 47 View FIGS ); spiracles weakly protruding ( figure 50 View FIGS ); second tergite smooth; T2 1.1 times longer than T3; second suture smooth, weakly curved; ovipositor sheath 0.42 times fore wing length.

Colour. Yellowish. Body more orange dorsally; ovipositor sheath, outer stripe on scapus, outer stripe on pedicellus blackish; telotarsus, antenna apically infuscate; stemmaticum dark brown; apex of hind femur yellow brownish; tegula, humeral plate, hind trochantellus brown to yellowish.

Variation. Hind trochantellus and stemmaticum sometimes yellowish to weakly brownish infuscate. Number of antennal segments varies between 40 and 43.

Remarks. Found in the USA east of the Apalachian mountains (Carolina, Virginia, Maryland), and Mexico, reaching south to 39 ‡ N latitude.

Remaining antennal segments 26 and 31, length of third segment 1.3 times fourth, length of third and fourth segments four and three times their maximal width; length of eye in dorsal view three times temple; eyes with short setae; temple directly narrowed posteriorly, punctate, shiny dorsally and coriaceous ventrally ( figure 84 View FIGS ); OOL: diameter of ocellus: POL~4.5:1.5:3; frons smooth medially, shiny, laterally punctate; vertex convex, punctate, flattened near stemmaticum; face convex, punctate; clypeus convex; malar suture absent; occipital flange small and straight ventrally ( figure 84 View FIGS ).

Mesosoma. Length of mesosoma 1.34 times its maximal height; side of pronotum smooth, medio-anteriorly crenulate and ventrally coriaceous; mesopleuron smooth and shiny; precoxal sulcus distinctly crenulate; space between punctures on mesoscutum more than puncture diameter; metapleuron smooth and sparsely punctate; scutellar sulcus smooth; scutellum convex, punctate; propodeum convex in lateral view, with some coarse transverse rugae medially, laterally smooth ( figure 26 View FIGS ); median-longitudinal carina of propodeum absent anteriorly; metapleural flange triangular and blunt apically ( figure 95 View FIGS ).

Wings. Fore wing: r: SR1z3-SR~9:39; 2-SR: r-m~7:5; second submarginal cell weakly petiolate; subbasal cell glabrous anteriorly; vein 3-CU1 subequal to vein CU1b. Hind wing: 2-M coloured; membrane largely glabrous basally.

Legs. Hind coxa with transverse rugae dorsally ( figure 26 View FIGS ); lengths of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 4.6, 9.2 and 10 times their widths, respectively; hind femur punctate, its ventral border in lateral view smooth; tibial spurs 0.48 and 0.28 times basitarsus; hind tibia with four apical teeth.

Metasoma. First tergite 2.6 times longer than apically wide, smooth and shiny, flattened; spiracles strongly protruding; second tergite smooth and shiny; T 2 1.71 times longer than T 3; second suture smooth, straight.

Colour. Yellow-brownish; antenna apically, apical patch on T 3– T 5, apical 0.25 of mid and hind basitarsus, following of mid and hind tarsus, apex of hind tibia dark brown; apex of hind wing infuscate; humeral plate brownish; hind tibial spurs, tegula, hind trochantellus yellowish.

Females. Similar to the type; ovipositor sheath 0.1 times as long as fore wing.

Variation. Number of antennal segments varies between 46 and 8.
