Type material. HOLOTYPE, ” ( MHNP): Madagascar: Bekily , rég. sud de l’Ile Muséum Paris, December 1936 (A. Seyrig)—66—type [handwriting]. PARATYPES ( MHNP): Madagascar: 3„„, topotypic but: ‘ October 1936 —„ 59’; idem but: ‘ December 1936 ’; idem but: ‘ December 1936 —„ 60’. Antanimora: „, January 1937 (A. Seyrig).

Holotype, ”, length of body 7.95 mm, of fore wing 6.45 mm.

Head ( figure 77 View FIGS ). Antenna with 66 segments, length of antenna twice fore wing, length of third segment 1.3 times fourth, length of third, fourth and penultimate segments 4.3, 2.5 and 4 times their maximal width, flagellomeres with two ranks of placodes; length of eye in dorsal view 3.75 times temple; eyes mainly glabrous but with sparse short setae; temple directly narrowed posteriorly, coriaceous; OOL: diameter of ocellus: POL~5.0:4.0:3.0; frons smooth medially, shiny, laterally punctate; vertex convex, punctate, flattened near stemmaticum; face convex, punctate, smooth between punctures; clypeus convex and punctate; length of malar space one times basal width of mandible; malar suture present; occipital carina enlarged dorsally ( figure 77 View FIGS ); occipital flange rounded posteriorly and straight ventrally.

Mesosoma ( figure 29 View FIGS ). Length of mesosoma 1.4 times its maximal height; side of pronotum basally coriaceous, medially crenulate, remainder smooth; mesopleuron smooth and finely punctate; precoxal sulcus distinctly punctate-crenulate; metapleuron sparsely punctate; mesoscutum sparsely punctate; scutellar sulcus with midlongitudinal carinae; scutellum smooth and convex, shiny; propodeum convex, with parallel transverse rugae ( figure 38 View FIGS ), smooth and shiny; median-longitudinal carina of propodeum present anteriorly; metapleural flange acute.

Wings. Fore wing: r: SR1z3-SR~9:41; 2-SR: r-m~7:12; second submarginal cell subsessile; except basally CU1a coloured and reaching border of wing; subbasal cell glabrous anteriorly; vein 3-CU1 as long as vein CU1b. Hind wing: 2-M coloured; membrane largely glabrous basally.

Legs. Surface of hind coxa coriaceous and punctate laterally, with some weak rugae dorso-apically; lengths of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 6.8, 8.6 and 9.3 times their widths, respectively; tibial spurs 0.46 and 0.36 times basitarsus; hind femur punctate and shiny; hind tibia with three apical teeth.

Metasoma. First tergite 3.6 times its apical width; T 1 longer than hind coxa, coriaceous, medially flattened with a terminal convexity ( figure 38 View FIGS ); spiracles protruding and rounded; second tergite weakly coriaceous; T 2 1.3 times longer than T 3; second suture smooth, straight; ovipositor sheath 0.16 times fore wing length.

Colour. Brownish yellow to orange dorsally. Hind trochantellus yellowish; T 2– T 6 brownish (maybe an artefact); telotarsi, apical antennal segments, humeral plate infuscate; ovipositor sheath, stemmaticum blackish; wing membrane weakly infuscate apically.
