( figures 32 View FIGS , 121, 124 View FIGS , 134 View FIGS )
Etymology. From the type locality.
Type material. HOLOTYPE, „ ( AEI): Brazil: S.P., Teodoro Sampaio, August [19]73 (F. M. Oliveira) . PARATYPES ( AEI): 2„„, topotypic .
Holotype, „, length of body 5.3 mm, of fore wing 5 mm.
Head ( figure 121 View FIGS ). Antenna with 49 segments, length of antenna twice fore wing, length of third segment 1.1 times fourth, length of third, fourth and penultimate segments 3.2, 2.8 and 2 times their maximal width, apical segment three times its maximal width; length of eye in dorsal view 4.5 times temple; eyes shortly setose; temple directly narrowed posteriorly, coriaceous ventrally, slightly punctatecoriaceous dorsally, shiny; OOL: diameter of ocellus: POL~5.0:2.0:2.0; frons smooth medially, shiny, laterally sparsely punctate; vertex convex, slightly punctate, flattened near stemmaticum; face convex, punctate; clypeus convex and punctate; maxillary palp 1.7 times height of head; length of malar space 1.5 times basal width of mandible; malar suture absent; occipital flange small and rounded ventrally and posteriorly.
Mesosoma. Length of mesosoma 1.36 times its maximal height; side of pronotum smooth and medially crenulate; surface of mesopleuron very sparsely punctate, smooth and shiny; precoxal sulcus complete and crenulate ( figure 32 View FIGS ); metapleuron smooth; mesoscutum punctate; scutellar sulcus large with short carina posteriorly ( figure 124 View FIGS ); scutellum convex; propodeum convex in lateral view, smooth with some coarse transverse rugae medially; mid-longitudinal carina of propodeum present anteriorly ( figure 134 View FIGS ); ventral flange of metapleura blunt.
Wings. Fore wing: r: SR1z3-SR~10:40; 2-SR: r-m~9:5; second submarginal cell petiolate; subbasal cell glabrous anteriorly; vein 3-CU1 as long as vein CU1b. Hind wing: 2-M coloured; membrane largely glabrous basally.
Legs. Hind coxa rather smooth laterally, with coarse rugae dorsally; ventral border of hind femur smooth ventrally in lateral view; lengths of hind femur, tibia and basitarsus 5, 7.8 and 9 times their widths, respectively; tibial spurs 0.5 and 0.32 times basitarsus; hind tibia with four apical teeth.
Metasoma. First tergite 2.4 times longer than apically wide, shiny and weakly granulose apically, medially concave; spiracles protruding; second tergite smooth; T2 1.63 longer than T3; second suture smooth, straight.
Colour. Brownish yellow. Stemmaticum, apex of hind tibia, hind tarsus except basal half of basitarsus, telotarsi blackish; small apical patch of fore wing (apical third of marginal cell), veins of fore wing, antenna apically infuscate; tegula, humeral plate, rugae on propodeum, mid tarsus, apex of mid tibia, T1–T8 dorsally, outer stripe on scapus dark brown; S4–S8, outer side of trochantellus, pedicellus, dorsal part of antennal segments, subbasal ring of hind tibia brownish; hind femur, hind coxa brownish orange; tibial spurs, basal third of hind basitarsus, pterostigma yellowish.
Variation. Number of antennal segments varies between 49 and 51; T1 may only be brownish basally.
