General distribution. Previously known only from Brazil (Para, Santarem) (Brailovsky 1991, Packauskas 2010, CoreoideaSF Team 2019, ITIS 2019).

Material examined. New country records: COLOMBIA: 1 male, Mitu Vaupes, 6–17- VII- 1990, L. Peña ( UNAM) .
