Material examined. AM P101263 , 1 female (TL 11 mm), N of moorings on N side of Blackburn (Rabbit) Island, 31.53389°S, 159.0575°E, 4 m, lagoon, coral rubble GoogleMaps , LHI 2017Mar29 _054, coll. S. Keable & K. Layton, 29 March 2017.

Remarks. Chorisquilla tweediei was first recorded from Lord Howe Island as part of the original type material of the species, which included material also from Elizabeth Reef (Tasman Sea) and Northwest Islet, Queensland ( Serène 1950). The present specimen constitutes only the second record of the species from Lord Howe Island.

Distribution. Coral Sea to northern Tasman Sea from the northern Great Barrier Reef and New Caledonia to Lord Howe Island, including Elizabeth and Middleton Reefs; intertidal to 21 m ( Ahyong 2001).
