Two species Parasitus consanguineous and P. fimetorum of this family reported in this study, are new to the fauna of SA. Previously, three species viz. Poecilochirus necrophori , Pergamasus longicornis , and Gamasodes buettikeri were reported from SA ( Table 1 View TABLE 1 ).
