Type host. Common greenshank, Tringa nebularia (Gunnerus) (Syn. Glottis nebularia Gunnerus ) ( Charadriiformes : Scolopacidae ).
Type locality. Allahabad, Allahabad District, India.
Remarks. This species was originally described as Cyclocoelum lobatum Khan, 1935 . It was considered to be a synonym of Cyclocoelum mutabile ( Zeder, 1800) by Bashkirova (1950). It has the genital pore immediately below the mid-level of the pharynx (postpharyngeal) and the vitelline fields are not confluent posteriorly, placing this species in Selfcoelum . No oral or ventral sucker described—Khan (1935).
