Circumvitellatrema Dronen, Greiner, Ialeggio & Nolan, 2009 View in CoL

(Members of this genus have a postpharyngeal genital pore and the vitelline fields are confluent both anteriorly and posteriorly) ( Table 8 View TABLE 8 )

Diagnosis. Cyclocoelidae ; Cyclocoelinae. Body lanceolate to linguiform, often tapered anteriorly. Rudimentary oral sucker often present; rudimentary ventral sucker generally absent. Genital pore postpharyngeal. Ovary intertesticular forming a triangle with oblique testes near posterior arch of cyclocoel. Uterine coils somewhat extracecal, not generally invading posttesticular space. Vitelline fields confluent anteriorly and posteriorly forming continuous loop in body. Parasites in air sacs and lungs of birds.

NP = Not present. 1Estimated from figure in original description.
