Diagnosis. Legs particularly long and slender; fore legs with the first tarsomere approximately twice the length of the tibia, mid and hind first tarsomeres about as long as tibial length. Thorax short, strongly arched; laterotergite and mediotergite setose. Wing membrane covered with macro and microtrichia; M1+2 short, usually shorter or only slightly longer than r-m, medial fork very long; cubital fork very distal, beyond origin of Rs, second sector of CuA strongly curved toward wing base on distal half.
