Description. Slender species with uniform whitish emerald green coloration ( Figs. 44–45 View FIGURES 29–47 ).
Abdominal apodemes of 2 nd tergite in male wide, parallel-sided, usually of equal width and length, separated by very narrow notch ( Fig. 198 View FIGURES 165–203 ), sternal apodemes of similar shape, but longer, with angular tips, separated by wider notch ( Fig. 199 View FIGURES 165–203 ). Penis stem in side view narrow, usually, bent at almost right angle, as in Figs. 196–197. 2 View FIGURES 165–203 nd valvulae of ovipositor with 3–5 preapical teeth each.
Body length (including tegmina): ♂, 3.5–3.7 mm; ♀, 3.9–4.3 mm.
Host. Elaeagnus spp.
Distribution. Western Europe, European Russia (northwards as far as Moscow), Caucasus, Transcaucasia, Kazakhstan, and Central Asia from Turkmenistan to Eastern Kazakhstan. Widely introduced with ornamental oleaster ( Elaeagnus angustifolia ) far beyond natural range which is hardly possible to reconstruct now. In Southeastern Kazakhstan almost everywhere on oleaster in the foothills and plains.
