Remarks: After redescription of F. diplophthalma types ( Potapov & Dunger 2000), it became clear that
reliable records of this species are restricted to northern regions of the mid-Palaearctic. As for the Nearctic records
above, they belong either to F. palaearctica Potapov & Babenko, 2000 , or to some species related to F. taimyrica Martynova, 1973 . General distribution: Palaearctic.
