Remarks: This species was originally described from the northeastern part of the USA (Massachusetts) and is now recorded up to the Ural Mountains in mid Palaearctic. It is rather polymorphic within this wide range and several species may be involved ( Babenko & Skarżyński 2011).
General distribution: Nearctic and Eastern Palaearctic.
