Remarks: This is a true Arctic species and its presence in southern parts of Canada is doubtful. Moreover, most of the above records from the Canadian Arctic Archipelago appear to belong to H. concolor , but not H. tullbergi . It should be noted that Wahlgren (1907) and Folsom (1919) listed this species as Achorutes tullbergi var. concolor . Later, until Fjellberg’s redescription (1985), only the name tullbergi was used by American authors.
General distribution: almost circumpolar, but there are still no reliable records from Greenland ( Fjellberg 2015) and the Canadian Arctic.
No known copyright restrictions apply. See Agosti, D., Egloff, W., 2009. Taxonomic information exchange and copyright: the Plazi approach. BMC Research Notes 2009, 2:53 for further explanation.
