Remarks: This single Canadian record appears to be erroneous (M.S. Turnbull, pers. comm.) and Turnbull & Stebaeva (2019) did not mention it and the whole family in their review of Canadian Collembola . Christiansen & Bellinger (1981, 1998) recorded this species (originally described from Costa Rica) only from southern parts of the USA, i.e. from Arizona and Louisiana.
General distribution: Nearctic.
