Remarks: The species was recently redescribed based on types ( Fjellberg 2007) and proved to be a senior synonym of D. ruseki Fjellberg, 1979 . D. fennica auct. was subsequently renamed and became D. potapovi Fjellberg, 2007 . Fjellberg (1979) compared European and North American (Illinois) specimens of D. fennica auct. and found no significant differences. In other words, the above records from MB most probably belong to D. potapovi and obviously need confirmation.
General distribution: Holarctic.
