Newly recorded in Nova Scotia and the Maritime Provinces as a whole ( Fig. 14 View FIGURE 14 ). Recorded in the USA in Montana, Missouri, Maryland, and South Carolina ( White 1982); in Canada known from Ontario ( McNamara 1991c). Associated with woody fungi including Fistulina hepatica (Schaeff. ex Fr.) , Ganoderma spp. , and Elfingia spp. ( Polyporaceae ) ( White 1982, Philips 2002). It is noteworthy that almost all specimens were collected in old-growth coniferous forests.
