Holotype: ♂, glued to pinned paper; Brasilien [ Brazil], Nova Teutonia , 27°11′O [S], 52°23′L [W], 300-500 m. XII.1949, Fritz Plaumann col.
Remarks: According to the original description,the holotype was collected in Alchornea sidifolia (Euphorbiaceae) .
