Diagnosis

Forewing length 17−18 mm. Forewing upperside cell spots separated or conjoined, lower one much larger and produced toward base; spot in space CuA1 largest, produced toward base and distally excavated; forewing upperside with a linear stigma crossing discal spots in spaces CuA1, CuA 2 in male.

Male genitalia ( Figs. 42−46 View FIGURES 42 − 46 ): Tegumen without socius; valva with ventrodistal process long and pointed; aedeagus with suprazonal sheath slightly shorter than subzonal sheath; juxta U-shaped with two densely spined arms.

Female genitalia ( Fig. 47 View FIGURE 47 ): Papillae anales rectangular, covered with hairs; apophysis posterioris slender, almost equal in length to papillae; anterior lamella U-shaped; posterior lamella triangular with upper margin straight, central area with a deep U-shaped gap; ductus bursa short, membranous, bursa copulatrix elongate, membranous.

Distribution

China (Guangdong, Guangxi), Vietnam ( Devyatkin & Monastyrskii, 1999; Devyatkin, 2004).

Remarks

The species complex was revised by Devyatkin (2004). Female genitalia are described for the first time.
