Distribution: India: Uttarakhand (Dehradun, Kumaon), Meghalaya, Maharashtra. Elsewhere: China (Taiwan), Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Thailand, Vietnam.
Note: Host-plants from several families have been recorded such as Bombax sp. ( Bombacaceae ), Grewia paniculata (Tiliaceae) , Helicteres isora (Sterculiaceae) , Sideroxylon tomentosum (Sapotaceae) , Trema orientalis (Ulmaceae) , Xylia xylocarpa (Leguminosae) .
