Leptochelia tanykeraia Bamber et al., 2009: 29 View in CoL –34, figs 12–14 (Type locality: Station RFI 7, off the coast of Israel, 31º48.809’N, 034º28.892’E, in fine mud, 62 m depth. Holotype female, NHM.2008.4822).

Geographic distribution. Off Israel, Eastern Mediterranean. Habitat. In fine mud, 10.3–62 m depth.
