Host-plants. Cotinus coggygria Scop. in the Crimea; in other regions also Pistacia spp. and Rhus coriaria L.

Type of distribution (chorological group). Sub-Mediterranean-Mediterranean; the species occurs from Spain and Austria to Greece and Georgia (Abkhazia).

Material examined. CRIMEA: 5♂, 20 km SW Feodosiya, Karadag Reserve, at light, 12–26.viii.2009, leg. A. Remeikis & J. R. Stonis; 1♂, the same locality, mining larva on Cotinus coggygria Scop. , fieldwork card no. 4966, 12 –26.viii.2009, leg. A. Remeikis & J. R. Stonis; 1♂, the same locality, mining larva on Cotinus coggygria Scop. , fieldwork card no. 5058, 01 –02.viii.2011, leg. A. Diškus & G. Varačinskas, genitalia slide no. Remarks. The species is very common in the Crimea: very widespread and very abundant, particularly in the coastal zone.
