Type: — LAOS. Bolikhamxai Province, Khamkeut District, Pongpatao Village , mixed deciduous forest and older secondary forest, ca 833 m, 12 April 2021, Lanorsavanh & Lamxay SL2182 (holotype: HNL; isotypes: BKF, FOF, KKU) .
This species was originally described from one locality in central Laos (see Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 in Mattapha et al. 2022). We found that it is also distributed in central and southern Vietnam ( Fig. 3 View FIGURE 3 ).

Poilane 5469 ( HN0000028058 , L2048035 ); Quang Binh Province, B ố Tr ạch District, Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park , 15 December 2015, Shi-Jin Li 4116 ( IBSC) .
