Coniceromyia pilicoxa Borgmeier

Diagnosis (male). Long thin setae on fore and mid coxae and on midfemur; foremetatarsus without anteroapical process.

Material examined. Holotype ♂, Dominica, W.I., Trois Pitons, 4.v. 1964, O.S. Flint Jr. col. (USNM).

Geographical distribution. Dominica, West Indies.

Comments. The hypopygium of the holotype of Coniceromyia pilicoxa is severely damaged and could not be described or illustrated. Possible affinities of C. pilicoxa are discussed under C. ciliatipes comments.
