D i s t r i b u t i o n. From From Fennoscandia southwards to Iberian Peninsula and from Ireland eastwards through Central and Southern Europe to Turkey and on into European territory of Russia and western Siberia. Also in Northern Africa ( Kassebeer, 1998); Iran ( Gilasian, 2005).
D i a g n o s t i c c h a r a c t e r s. Eye bare; eye margin below antenna with long hairs, third antennal segment reddish-black; dorsal side of facial knob bare, at most with very short hairs, tibia pale at the both ends, hind margin of scutellum without bristle.
