Material examined. BURMA: J, ‘N.E.Burma, Kombaiti, 2000 m, 14.5.1934, Malaise [leg.] [violet label] / Acanthocnema longispina [det.?] [yellow label] / Acanthocnema sp. / Acanthocnema longispina Suwa, 1986 , J, det. F. Šifner 2009’ ( CNC).

Distribution. Japan ( SUWA 1986).

This species was originally listed from Burma by VOCKEROTH (1977) as an unnamed species of Acanthocnema . New species for the fauna of Burma.
