Material examined. CHINA: Zhejiang Province, Hangchow, 1925, A. Pichon, 1 ♀ (Holotype, K. flavata Navás ), Museum National d’Histoire Naturelle, Paris ).
Adult habitus. Triocellate. General color brown patterned with pale pigment. Head with a dark brown, Tshaped patch covering ocellar area and extending laterally from anterior ocellus toward compound eyes. M-line and calluses not strongly expressed; antennae and palpi brown. Pronotum rather uniformly brown with few, relatively small rugosities, femora with dark distal area and tibiae with dark proximal areas adjoining at knee. Wings brown with pale coastal area.
Male. Described by Yang & Yang (1995).
Female (from Kamimuria flavata holotype). Forewing length 16,5 mm. Subgenital plate separated into a pair of widely spaced, narrow, curved lobes; lobes extend partially over base of sternum 9. Patches of long hair occur laterad to subgenital plate lobes on posterior margin of sternum 8. Vagina somewhat bottle-shaped, with a pair of short, tubular accessory glands located at anterior corners; anterior section of vagina bearing a sclerotized ring and a hook-shaped seminal receptacle.
Egg (from K. flavata holotype). Length ca. 0.42 mm, width ca. 0.32 mm. Collar a small, sessile, button-like process. Chorion coarsely punctate over entire surface.
Comments. Navás (1924) proposed a new Japanese species Perla (Kamimuria) flavata , and later ( Navás 1933), proposed Kamimuria flavata as a new Chinese species. The second name is an invalid secondary homonym (Zwick, in litt.) and also, based on the similar female subgenital plate structure, and similar head pattern, S. orientalis is a junior synonym of K. flavata , however Sinacroneuria orientalis remains the currently valid name and K. flavata is removed from the list of valid Sinacroneuria in Table 1 View TABLE 1 .
