Notes. Saldula recticollis was described from Hokkaido, Japan by Horváth (1899) who assigned this species to the genus Salda . The holotype is deposited in the Entomological Institute of the Hokkaido University, Sapporo, Japan. This species is widely distributed from north (Hokkaido) to south (Ryukyu archipalago) in Japan ( Hayashi & Miyamoto 2005). Drake & Maa (1954) described Saldula fukiena from Fujian Province, SE China. The holotype is deposited in the Drake Collection in the United States National Museum of Natural History. In addition, Vinokurov (1981) described Saldula arsenjevi from the southern Far East. The holotype is deposited in the Zoological Institute, Russian Academy of Sciences (St. Petersburg). The latter two species were synomized by Lindskog (1995) after examining the type series and specimens from Nankai University ( Tianjin, China). We have also examined the specimens seen by Lindskog and agree with the synonymy.
