Distribution. Japan (Hokkaido, Honshu, and Sado Is.*).
Bionomics. Host record: Syrphus torvus Osten Sacken, 1875 ( Diptera , Syrphidae ) ( Kusigemati, 1983).
Remarks. This is the first record of this species from Sado Is.
