Celaenorrhinus oscula Evans, 1949: 94 View in CoL (Type locality: Tianquan, Sichuan); Devyatkin, 2000: 210; Wang et al., 2012: 56, figs. 3–4.

Diagnosis. Forewing length 18 mm. Wings brown. Forewing upperside with inner margin of subapical spots in spaces R3-R5 almost in line, spots in space R3 and R5 subequal and larger than spot in space R4; spot in space M3 as large as spots in space CuA2; two spots in spaces CuA2 much closer to each other; 3 spots in cell, M3 and CuA1 separated apart farther; forewing underside with basal striping well developed. Hindwing upperside with basal yellow hairs much reduced; the spot in space Rs faint.

Male genitalia ( Figs. 46–50 View FIGURES 46 – 50 ). Uncus bifid and U-shaped, with two long branches; gnathos pointed at tip; valve with distal part round, dorso-distal projection turned inward and hook-like at tip; aedeagus with a long cornuti; juxta deeply bifid, V-shaped.

Material examined. 1♂, Nanling National Nature Reserve, Guangdong, 23-VII-2002, WANG Min.

Distribution. China (Sichan, Guangdong); Vietnam.

Remarks. The wing pattern is nearly identical to that of C. maculosus , but yellow marking and basal streaks are paler; the spot in space R4 smaller than that in space R5, the spot in space M3 subequal to spots in space CuA2; in male genitalia, dorso-distal portion of valva hook-like; juxta bifid, branches nearly 1/2 length of juxta.
