Key to Lophotettiginae genera and species

1. Antennae with 11 segments moderately or noticeably expanded, at least from the fifth or sixth antennal segment to the apex. Mid-line of pronotum usually elevated as a crest, at least one-third of its length. Pronotum and legs with conspicuous granules. Middle femora carinated; hind femora robust, carinated and/or with lappets. Robust appearance ( Fig. 1 )..... Lophotettix .... 2

‒ Antennae with more than 11 segments, mostly not expanded, and if so, only moderately in the last three or two segments ( Figs. 2C , 5B ). Mid-line of pronotum generally not elevated, if so, only moderately hump-shaped at meso and metathorax level ( Figs. 2 , 3B , 4 ).
