Remarks. Of the two syntypes specimens deposited at NHM (NHM 1917.1.29.148–9), the male (10.5 mm × 15.2 mm; Fig. 18E View FIGURE 18 ) is hereby selected as the lectotype, the female as paralectotype (12.0 mm × 17.8 mm; Fig. 18F View FIGURE 18 ).

Distribution. Western Atlantic from North Carolina to southern Brazil. Depth: 73– 476 m.
