Castillogryllus complicatus Martins-Neto, 1995

Holotype. CV-2835, Vulcano private collection, by original designation.

Locus and Stratum-typicum. Tatajuba Farm, near Santana do Cariri municipality, Ceará State, Northeast Brazil. Upper part of the Crato Member, laminated limestone level, lowest unit of the Santana Formation, Early Cretaceous (Upper Aptian), Araripe Basin.

Remarks. The placement of this species in the subfamily Baissogryllinae Gorochov is based on plesiomorphic characters: lanceolated cell present; CuA unbranched; speculum trapezoidal with indistinct number of specular veins (more than three); diagonal vein not deflected.
