Subgenus: Elachista View in CoL ; bifasciella View in CoL species group.

Distribution: Palearctic. Finland, Norway, Russia (European part, Siberia), Sweden.

Larval host plant(s): Deschampsia flexuosa (Poaceae) ( Itämies & Mutanen 1995).
