There is one paratype in NFIC with five labels. Label 1: White label stating collection locality '( INDIA: Uttarakhand), Dehra Dun, vii.1912; collected by Forest Zoological Collection'. Label 2: Small white label with number '74'. Label 3: White label ' Temnaspis quadriplagiatus Bryant (hand written), det. GE Bryant'. Label 4: Yellow bordered white circular label stating 'Cotype'. Label 5: Yellow label with printed 'Cotype'.

Remarks: The specimen is damaged. Head and prothorax are missing.

Comments: Species was described on the basis of two specimens. Type was deposited elsewhere.
