There is one paratype with six labels. Label 1: White label stating collection locality '(INDIA): Madras, (Kerala) Chatomborai, Nilambur; 13. x. 1925; collected by SN Chatterjee'. Label 2: White label stating 'Defoliating Urena sinuata '. Label 3: Small label with number '28'. Label 4: a small label with faded number? '6'. Label 5: White label ' Podagrica apicefulva Bryant , Paratype (hand written), det. GE Bryant'. Label 6: Green label stating 'Paratype'.

Remarks: Antennomeres 3-11 of left antenna broken and glued.

Comments: Species was described on the basis of 3 females collected by SN Chatterjee and one specimen from 'Fry Coll., British Museum'.
