In NFIC there is one cotype designated by Pic and labeled as follows: Label 1: ( INDIA: Tamil Nadu),' North Salem , Ayur ; 20.viii. (19)30 ; FRI Sandal Insect Survey'. Label 2: With number '174'. Label 3: ' Plot 20'. Label 4: ' Bruchus albocallosus Pic , Cotype' hand written by Pic. Label 5: ' Cotype' printed on a yellow label.

Remarks: Cotype is intact and in good condition. It is currently a synonym of B. dolichosi (Gyllenhal, 1839) .
