There is one paratype in NFIC and has following information on the labels, Label 1: White label stating collection locality ' INDIA:(Uttarakhand), Almora , Khaula , 4500 ft.; H.G. C. (Champion)'. Label 2: White label ' Callispa almora M., Cotype, 1923 (hand written); Det. S. Maulik '. Label 3: Yellow bordered white circular label stating ' Cotype'.

Remarks: In the original description author stated that species has been described from six specimens all collected by HG Champion from Khaula, Almora 4500 ft. 'Type' deposited in the NHM. Staines (2015) also mentioned the same 'BMNH".
