In NFIC there is one cotype designated by Pic and labeled as follows: Label 1: ( INDIA:), 'U. P. (Uttarakhand), Dehra Dun, Bindal; 5.iii.1937; N. C. Chatterjee'. Label 2: With number '388'. Label 3: '? garde'l = no-389'. Label 4: ' Bruchus gardneri Pic , Cotype' hand written by Pic. Label 5: 'Cotype' printed on a yellow label.

Remarks: Cotype is intact and in good condition, currently it is known as Bruchidius gardneri ( Pic, 1938) .
